Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Team took an x-ray, left me sitting in the exam room for an hour. I finally had to push the call button for help. They did not help me and sent me home . I went home and continued to be unable to swallow. I later had to go to Methodist Mansfield ER where I was given an IV + Glucagon, and a Carbonated beverage to relax my esophagus. I felt much better after receiving the appropriate treatment. I will not be returning. I would not reccommend this ER to anyone. Huge bill for nothing to follow.

They were amazing. I donβt normally leave reviews, just not my thing, but I had to after this experience. I went in at midnight for a shoulder issue, and the lobby was empty, so I was seen right away. The doctor took the time to explain everything in detail to both me and my partner, including what he saw, preventative measures, medications to pick up, and a referral to a specialist. I was extremely impressed, and I hope this level of care continues for all their patients.

My wife went there because we had a positive experience the first time. An object feel on top of her head and she wasn't feeling right plus her ob/gyn 'doctor suggested to get it checked out and thats why she went to the ER in grand praire. Long story short. She wasn't fully examined. Doctor didn't even come into the room . Told her shell be alright and that her other doctor should stay in her lane. Her symptoms continued and we went to an urgent care and was diagnosed with a concussion. On top of that we got a bill of $425 for what. To be not looked at but just say youll be alright. Very disappointed in this experience .

I called first....they asked me to spill the beans on what's going on and told me to come on by. 1st impression. Once there, after taking care at receptionist (which took about 5 minutes) boom...in a room. That fast! All along being treated so nice like I was VIP. This began 11:45 a.m. Got great Q & A with doctors and had chest xrays, bilateral leg ultrasound, thorough bloodwork and a bunch of niceness and laughs throughout the visit. By 1:20 p.m., I was on my way to Salt grass Steakhouse. I highly recommend this place and if needed, will return. Glad I didn't go to a big hospital. Some fyi....there's a guy that draws blood. I forgot to ask him to let me see his drawings. Wonder if he used pencils or crayons.

This is a little long, but it shows the complete incompetency of this ER (From my own RN perspective). They gave me an aspirin for blood pressure of 199/116 (after all heart labs/EKG normal). A few weeks ago I ended up in a different ER twice in three days and they at least gave me actual BP meds to decrease the blood pressure. Update : The nurse said she would take my blood pressure every half hour, but it had been 2.5 hours so I decided to take it myself it was 206/103. She re-took it and said it was higher than that and then she told me it was because I was upset. After 3 hours and 2 more BP readings over 200/100 they finally gave me IV Hydralazine & IV fluids. Thereβs more! The nurse left the BP cuff on the arm with the IV fluids. Since I am a nurse, I moved it to the over to the other arm myself because leaving it on the arm with the IV fluids could cause an IV infiltration (painful IV fluid leaking out of the vein. Another update: the nurse got the BP med I take wrong. Unbelievable Doctor diagnosis: The doctor said if you take your blood pressure and it is high then thatβs gonna stress you out so it will just get higher. I guess he doesnβt want me to take my blood pressure an
